Congrats to Kadir For Winning Troops Throwdown!

Here's the winning entry from Friday Night's 'Troops' throwdown, an allied Raven Guard squad. In a relatively quiet night of competition, we had entries from Alvin's Dark Eldar army and Iqbal's Tyranids:

For all those who haven't entered (including myself!), it's time to pick up those brushes and get your entries for 'Heavy Support' done! Good luck to everyone, stay motivated, and get your armies done!

    1. I have no idea where your post went- I'm an admin here and got the notification email, but when I checked the blog the post was gone. No idea dude. :)

As far as the local scene goes, it's alive and well. We do a lot of our gaming at Hobby Forge these days, but we also play at places like Spartan Games, Gladius Games, and Wira Games & Hobbies. This coming Saturday we're holding an X-Wing tournament, and beginning in October we're running a Flames of War campaign at Wira Games on Friday evenings. Pop by some time and introduce yourself! :)

      Cheers,

      Jeff

  6. Found your post matey. Sometimes when folks post anonymously Google treats it as spam and chucks it in the spam folder. Log in with a google account next time and that shouldn't happen. Post restored! :)

  7. Cheers! Im kinda just looking for a 40k group. Done my bit for magic, manowar, ect, ect.. Kinda sucks im getting back into gaming and most of my magic cards are banned or restricted. Anyway, got any line for cheaper minies? I prefer metal to plastic exclusively. God knows if i can still paint hehe.. Vaguely remember washes and dry-brushing... It has been a life time, seriously.

    1. I'm Jeff but the Games Castle shop around here is before my time in Malaysia. I used to work at a shop named Game Castle back in the US, but I doubt that's the one you're referring to :)
