Closed this Friday Folks
This Friday is a local holiday, and I've decided to take a little road trip and visit Malacca City this weekend with my wife. We're driving down Friday morning, so obviously we won't be opening up the factory for hobby night. My apologies if you had your heart set on the Legio this week, but I've never been to Malacca and I hear the food and sights are awesome.
Once I get back on Sunday I'm starting my third "Hobby Rush" with the goal of painting a Flames of War 1750 Point French Infantry Company by the end of September. What are your plans for the long weekend? Any new armies? Mighty battles? Tell us all here, and think happy thoughts. The next Hobby Night will be on September 3rd!

It's a Selangor state holiday! And yes, the food in Malacca is awesome. Go look for chicken rice balls ... yummy
ReplyDeleteJust when I thought I can finally made it hahaha.
ReplyDeleteAniway, have a safe and fun trip to Malacca. If you are into red hot chilli pepper, try out out "Asam Pedas Power" close to Bukit China roundabout. It was the favourite spot of Angron and his boys prior to the heresy.
The most authentic and also the 1st Chicken Rice balls restaurent is located at Jonker Street. the details and map are as follows:

ReplyDeleteits not satay per se. imagine this, steamboat but replace the soup wif satay sauce. sounds weird but taste awesome. iirc the name of the good satay celup is Restoran Capitol. be prepared to wait though. if your timing is bad, u will queue all the way to the main road and i m not kidding.
